Exercise bike
When buying a new exercise bike, it can be complicated
because there are a number of features on the bike. While having a lot
of features is nice, it is often also unnecessary. Here are the main
features that you most likely will need when purchasing a stationary
bike:
• Odometer – If you want to gauge your progress when riding
an exercise bike it will need a working odometer. For example, you could
ride a bike for an hour, but if you have only gone what is equivalent
to a couple of miles you are probably not getting that great of a workout.
An odometer helps you set and accomplish goals on your bike.
• Calorie counter – The calorie counter is useful because
it allows you to delve even deeper into understanding how good of a
workout you are getting on the exercise bike. Of course, if you plan
to use the calorie counter, the best results are obtained from those
bikes that allow you to enter in your gender, age, height, and weight
so that it can give you a more accurate reading on how many calories
you are burning.
