Gym equipment
Anybody who uses gym equipment knows that he or she should
wipe the equipment down after using it. But simply taking your towel
and swiping the handrails may not be enough. In order to kill most germs,
a sanitizer must be used. But before you get a cheap sanitizer to use,
consider the following . . .
An ideal gym equipment sanitizer should meet the following criteria:
• Safe to handle without gloves – Unless you are a heavy
duty weight lifter, you are not going to be wearing gloves when using
gym equipment. Therefore the sanitizer should not be harsh to the skin
of a person.
• Safe for repeated use – The gym equipment cleanser should
be safe for the equipment. This means that it should not include chemicals
that will slowly eat away at the metal or paint on a piece of equipment.
• No objectionable odor – Exercising can be hard enough
for some people, so when they need to worry about an objectionable odor
coming from the gym equipment, their determination to work out decreases.
The best cleanser should be odor-free or only have a very faint smell.
By using gym equipment sanitizer that meets these criteria, it is more
likely that everybody in the gym will have a pleasant experience.
